Leaving the family nest, striking out on your own or living with friends, doing your own thing: finally. Imagine how a young person with a learning disability feels when they finally feel ready to make this big step and somebody out there actually provides the opportunity and support to do just that...Awesome! That's what we do at halow. We do awesome. In the next few months we are opening two more shared houses in the Guildford and Cranleigh area for two groups of young ladies ready to make the move. Therefore, we are urgently looking for Supported Living halow Buddies to provide personalised support to young people with a learning disability, within their own home. You will be required to work early mornings, evenings, weekends and sleep-ins on a rolling shift pattern, however full training is provided for this. . You will need to be self-motivated, energetic, empathetic and have a good sense of humour. We are looking for fun, caring and confident people to offer friendship and support in a professional way to the young people at halow . The role of a halow Buddy is exciting, dynamic and unique; no day is the same.
